This past weekend Kris and I (and the rest of the farm) travelled to Atlanta to visit the Duttenhofer side of the family. We celebrated our birthdays and had our first baby shower! I will post pictures as soon as I get some more from Erin - I want to show off all of the wonderful decorating they did (it was fabulous!).
After the shower, Erin got out the camera to document how we look as we enter the third trimester:
Yes - third trimester here we come! I have 12 weeks to go, but I am preparing for a 10 week countdown just in case. Oh, we have so much to do!!!!! This weekend we are finishing the electrical downstairs & then the dry wall can
finally be hung. Our goal is to be able to start the trim & paint at the beginning of July (along with the deck, maybe the screen porch, our closets, cabinets, and finishing the nursery....). As you can tell there is a lot.
Sofia is quite the wiggle worm these days. I wish we had a camera to see what she is doing and how she is positioned. The third trimester has hit me just like the first and second.... with a cold. How is that for coincidence? It is definitely harder to move, eat, sleep, and get things done these days. Between the heat and the fatigue I am not very inspired to work after work:). I am sure once things start moving on the house I will be motivated again. We go to the doctor next Tuesday & then we have our crash course childbirth classes on the 24th & 25th! We are excited!!!
